Interships in Europe

International working experiences and the knowledge of foreign languages are an essential requirement in a globalized world of work. Despite the freedom of movement and labour within Europe, only 2% of all working aged citizen from all 27 Member states of the European Union live and work abroad within the Union (2010). Therefore LDI Berlin has since its foundation been working to organize projects in which give apprentices and young professionals the chance to gain working experiences in foreign European countries. These projects are funded by the EU ERASMUS PLUS programme.

LDI Berlin cooperates closely with institutions and enterprises in Berlin as well as with European partner institutions in the field of training. LDI Berlin therefore promotes not only the European action plan for mobility, but it also raises the employability of all its participants on the European labour market.
